This recipe combines two techniques. Firstly the potatoes are fried in the butter. In the later stages they are boiled in the stock. The liquid cooks them further and eventually gets absorbed by potatoes an helps them to brown further. We end up with nicely crispy potatoes packed with flavors. This makes great side dish for smoked steak or pork.

Ingredients
1 kg Potatoes, cut and peeled
100 g Butter
...spices
1 tsp Thyme
½ tsp Rosemary
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Pepper
...add after 30 minutes
1 cup Broth
2 Cloves of Garlic

- Mix potatoes with spices, add pieces of butter.
- Place in the oven and cook for 15 min on 230C / 450F.
- Flip potatoes and bake for another 15 min.
- Add broth and garlic, bake for last 15 minutes.
