Peach Cobbler

Quick recipe which requires minimal effort, almost bakes itself. Peach cobbler recipe is undoubtedly sweet crumbly surprise for any occasion.

Fruit
 4 pt Peaches(or any other fruit as substitute)
 2 tbsp Sugar
  tsp Cinnamon
  tsp Nutmeg
 ½ tsp Lemon Juice
 1 tsp Cornstarch
Crumble
 ½ cup All-purpose flour
 2 tbsp Sugar
 ½ tsp Baking Powder
 ¼ tsp Salt
 45 g Unsalted Butter
 2 tbsp Boiling Water

Preparation

  • Place peaches to boiling water for few minutes.
  • Remove from hot bath and place in to ice cold water.
  • Peel the peaches and cut them into small wedges.
  • Preheat your oven to 220C / 428F
  • Mix peaches with sugar, spice, cornstarch and juice.

Baking

  • Bake in preheated oven to 220C / 428F for 10 minutes.
  • While peaches are baking we prepare crumble.
  • Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • Incorporate butter with your fingers, lastly add hot water.
  • After 10 minutes elapsed take peaches out, put the prepared crumble on top.
  • Return to the oven for 20 minutes until golden brown.
